The Idealistic Cause Story

Idealistic Cause’s deeper background.
The origins of our foundation trace back to my father and one of his closest friends, Jack. Both were accomplished businessmen who decided to pursue the excitement of racehorse ownership. At every race, they set aside their business acumen and became like two jubilant boys, cheering with unrestrained joy as their horses took to the track. Wins were celebrated, losses accepted, and over time they experienced both in abundance.
Then came a horse named Idealistic Cause. While she did not win every race, her performance was remarkable, and she earned a significant sum—especially by the standards of the 1990s.
Rather than spend the winnings, my parents chose to set them aside. After my father’s passing, my mother honored his vision and rolled those funds into what is now the Idealistic Cause Foundation. This act transformed the excitement of horse racing into a lasting legacy—one that supports charitable organizations and helps carry forward the spirit of hope, determination, and possibility that Idealistic Cause embodied.
